How did your opinion of your images change after showing them in a public gallery?

I felt a lot more confident about them! The reactions of others made me feel like I was making a difference with my work, and improving people's days.

What comments by visitors surprised you?  How did those comments change your opinion about your work?

People were very supportive, and made me want to photograph more animals. One guy even gave me five dollars!

Describe your experience of presenting your work to the public.  What did you learn from the experience?

Going into the exhibit, I was nervous and had no idea what to expect, but after experiencing it, I would definitely do it again. I learned that I can make people smile through products that arose from an inkling of an idea in my mind, and took physical form.
